Deploying the American flag is Chief Petty Officer Justin Gauny. Below him is Petty Officer 1st Class Isaiah Maring, both members of the U.S. Navy Parachute Team, the Leap Frogs. Others members deployed their patriotic spirit with smoke trails and a giant Texas flag during the Rodeo of Austin, Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo in Austin, Texas. After their jump the Leap Frogs mingled with the cowboys and cowgirls signing posters, handing out stickers and sharing information about opportunities with the Naval Special Warfare community. The Leap Frogs jumped onto the rodeo grounds as part of Austin Navy Week. Navy Weeks are designed to inform the public about the Navy's and the SEAL Team's relevance as the Navy fights on, under and over the water. SEALs represent many different types of sailors contributing to the Navy story. Austin Navy Week began March 19 and runs through March 26.
