170919-N-TR141-0063 WESTERN PACIFIC (Sept. 19, 2017) Gunner’s Mate 1st Class Thomas Hedgpeth, from Silver Spring, Md., assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90), demonstrates a course of fire during a .9mm gun shoot. Chafee is part of the U.S. 3rd Fleet and U.S. Naval Surface Forces, currently deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility on a routine scheduled deployment.
