During the Battle of the Pusan Perimeter, 1st Lt. Fredrick F. Davis, Company F, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, held his position to allow his Soldiers to take their wounded to safety. As he did this, he was overrun by the enemy and killed. Before perishing in battle, Henry killed fifty enemy Soldiers. For his actions, Davis was awarded the Medal of Honor. Henry, who was from Clinton, Okla., joined the Army in September 1940, a week before his 21st birthday.
