Florida Rep. Carlos Curbelo addresses Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry, 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Homestead, Fla., Sept. 16, acknowledging the 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s support and dedication to the Florida National Guard and civil authorities during Hurricane Irma relief efforts. On Sept. 8, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker signed an executive order, which authorized the adjutant general to call elements of the Wisconsin National Guard to state active duty, as necessary.
