U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jeffrey Brake, a rifleman with 3rd Battalion 4th Marines attached to Task Force Koa Moana 17, sights in on his M27 infantry automatic rifle, during a raid for the culminating event of Exercise Crocodilo in Metinaro, Timor Leste, Sept. 13, 2017. Koa Moana 17 is designed to improve interoperability with our partners, enhance military-to-military relations, and expose the Marine Corps forces to different types of terrain for familiarity in the event of a natural disaster in the region.
