Lance Cpl. Steven Reppen, a CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter crew chief with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, performs post-flight operations after landing here March 15. HMM-265 is assisting in humanitarian missions throughout Japan in support of Operation Tomodachi. The proximity of Marine aviation assets at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma has allowed Marines from III MEF to rapidly deploy critically-needed supplies and aid to areas that need it most.
