Gunnery Sgt. Josh Wallace, a CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter crew chief with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, provides front observation as helicopters prepare to take off here March 15. HMM-265 is currently assisting in humanitarian assistance and reliefs efforts in support of Operation Tomodachi. The proximity of Marine aviation assets at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma has allowed Marines from III MEF to rapidly deploy critically-needed supplies and aid to areas that need it most.
