Iraqi Army Maj. Hatam Rashed Kalifah, IA officer in charge of training at Kirkush Military Training Base, instructs a class on operations orders to 5th IA Division staff officers during a Tadreeb al Shamil course at KMTB, March 12. Going past simply training ground troops on combat operations, U.S. and Iraqi leadership extend the Tadreeb al Shamil, Arab for All Inclusive Training, courses to include division staff-level training to educate officers on the responsibilities and planning necessary to conduct successful missions. Tadreeb al Shamil is an Iraqi military training program taught at enduring training facilities in northern Iraq to help Iraqi officers and non-commissioned officers develop a modern army force.
