Coast Guard cutter Heriberto Hernandez and a Customs and Border Protection patrol boat contiue to have a heavy presence in the U.S. Virgin Islands after Hurricane Irma, Sept. 13th, 2017.
Since the beginning of the response, Coast Guard cutters have been actively transporting Coast Guard personnel, specialized gear, and other government agency responders to the U.S. Virgin Islands in the relief effort after Hurricane Irma. U.S. Coast Guard photo.
