The comptrollers in G-8 support every subordinate unit in 1st Marine Logistics Group. These units are supported by a staff of 20 Marines. The Marines handle approximately $85 million in funds. It’s their job to make sure that all the unit funds are accounted for and that every penny is spent in accordance with the fiscal laws the Marine Corps adheres to.
