U.S. Army Gen. Carter Ham, U.S. Africa Command commander, is greeted by U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Brian Losey, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa commander, on March 13. Ham visited CJTF-HOA troops three days after assuming command of AFRICOM on March 9 in Stuttgart, Germany. During his stopover, Ham met with CJTF-HOA leaders, the Djiboutian chief of defense, and the U.S. Ambassador to Djibouti.
