Soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 265th Air Defense Artillery, Florida Army National Guard, aid in neighborhood cleanup by clearing debris from a resident’s yard on September 12. During their deployment to Duval County, the unit assisted civilian emergency services with floodwater surveys and resident checks for the southwest corner of Duval County. These efforts were part of the ongoing partnership with civilian partner agencies and allowed Florida National Guard Soldiers to assist their fellow Floridians in multiple capacities, after Hurricane Irma passed through the area.
