Members of the Air National Guard and U.S. Navy Reserve provide dental services during Operation Healthy Delta, an Air National Guard Innovative Readiness Training exercise in the Bootheel Region of Missouri, Sept. 13, 2017. The joint-service operation is led by the Missouri Air National Guard, sponsored by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower & Reserve Affairs, and co-sponsored by the Delta Regional Authority (DRA), a federal-state partnership chartered by Congress in 2000 to help create jobs, build communities and improve lives through strategic investments in economic development in 252 counties and parishes across eight states, including southeastern Missouri.
