PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. – Pfc. Athena Tafur, an HH-60 Black Hawk medevac helicopter crew chief assigned to Company C, 6th Battalion, 101st General Support Aviation Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), secures rotors, Sept. 12, as her unit stages in preparation to support Hurricane Irma relief efforts. While the 101st Abn. Div. received orders to reposition some of its forces, it has not been ordered to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission.
