Staff Sgt. Michael Wells of Marshall, Illinois, gives Soldiers of the 1544th Transportation Company based in Paris, Illinois, and the 1644th Transportation Company based in Rock Falls, Illinois, a convoy safety brief in preparation for possible mobilization to assist with hurricane recovery operations in Florida Sept. 12. Nearly 160 Soldiers, more than 60 vehicles and equipment laden with supplies, were ready to answer the call less than 24 hours after notification.
