U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS – The Battalion Landing Team’s Battery C. for the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit establishes their position to participate in the Fire Support Coordination Exercise conducting fire missions in response to Joint Tactical Air Controllers call for fire against enemy positions during Alligator Dagger, Sept. 9, 2017. As a TF 51/5 asset, 15th MEU-America ARG provide CENTCOM unmatched crisis response, theater security cooperation and integrated special operations support fostering cooperative military solutions at the operational and tactical levels in the world's most challenging regions. Alligator Dagger is an exercise in Djibouti to increase proficiency and enable the force to train for amphibious operations with our allies and partners within the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
