    101st Airborne Division (Air Assault)

An Airmen of the 68th Airlift Squadron, 433rd Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, stands ready to unload a C-5 Galaxy military aircraft, Sept. 11 at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. The C-5 was used to transport 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Soldiers and their equipment out of Fort Campbell, Ky., to support Hurricane Irma relief efforts. While the division received orders to reposition some of its forces, it has not been ordered to assist in the Total Army’s support to local, state and federal hurricane response efforts and the Defense Department’s Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission. However, it remains ready to respond to this or any contingency. (Photo by Sgt. Steven Lopez, 40th Public Affairs Detachment)
