U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 12, 2017) - Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Armando Lugaro, a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), conducts routine maintenance on the parking brake cable of a spotting dolly in the ship’s hangar bay. America is the flagship for the America Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
