STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. -- Chief "selects" from three Naval Special Warfare Commands located on the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, hold a remembrance ceremony in honor of the 16th anniversary of 9-11.
The ceremony, held at the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School's headquarters, commemorated the anniversary of the four coordinated terrorist attacks on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001, causing the deaths of 2,996 people, to include almost 40 Naval personnel.
