170909-N-DC385-155 CORAL SEA (Sept. 9, 2017) Marines, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), collect a rappelling rope from an MH-60S Sea Hawk, assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, during a helicopter rope suspension technique (HRST) exercise on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG), is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance partnerships and be a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
