Point Barrow, shown Sept. 9, 2017, and located in Barrow, Alaska, is a long-range radar site and the most northern military site in the United States. Recently a group of Air Force senior leaders from the Air Staff and major commands visited Point Barrow to learn more about challenges the Air Force faces developing and sustaining operational proficiency in all domains in the Arctic region.
