Capt. Bryan Ferrara, a nurse with 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, “Ready First” 1st Armored Division, looks over paperwork at the “Ready First” Consolidated Aid Station, on East Fort Bliss, March 8. Ferrara oversaw the vaccination of roughly 4,000 Army Soldiers against numerous transmittable diseases for a one-year deployment to Iraq, he has been named the American Nurses Association Immunity Award winner for February 2011.
