Oregon National Guard Master Sgt. Rebecca Thompson, with the 142nd Fighter Wing, and Veronica Klyber, with the 116th Air Control Squadron, trade out a water pump after using it for firefighting training at the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) in Salem, Oregon, September 2, 2017. They are also trained on proper care and safety of equipment, water streams on hotspots, grid search for hotspots, hazard materials safety, and using water pumps.
