Oregon National Guard Soldiers and Airmen conduct water pump familiarization during firefighting training at the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) in Salem, Oregon, September 2, 2017. They are also trained on proper care and safety of equipment, water streams on hotspots, grid search for hotspots, hazard materials safety, and protective shelter deployment.
