Oregon National Guard Soldiers and Airmen use water streams on hotspots during firefighting training at the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) in Salem, Oregon, September 2, 2017. They are also trained on proper care and safety of equipment, protective shelter deployment, grid search for hotspots, hazard materials safety, and using water pumps.
