A French Air Force Rafale departs after receiving fuel from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker, assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, during a mission over Iraq on Aug. 31, 2017. The Rafale is a French twin-engine, canard delta wing, multirole fighter aircraft with a wide range of weapons.
