AAFES northern Afghanistan general manager Rick Mora, addresses a crowd of Camp Marmal service members and civilians prior to the grand opening of the highly anticipated tactical field exchange March 7. The 53-foot self-contained trailer holds 400 different items including health and beauty products, underclothes, snacks, drinks, tobacco products, footlockers, energy drinks and more. The TFE is one of several AAFES facilities being built on the camp for service members and civilians to help reduce stress and improve the quality of life and morale of permanent and transient personnel. Over the next 90 days a barber shop, beauty shop with spa, Green Beans Coffee, Pizza Hut and Burger King should arrive. The facilities are being coordinated by the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division as part of their mayoral duties for the U.S. portion of Camp Marmal. (Photo by: Sfc. VeShannah J.
