Service members and civilians from the Defense Information School gather for a quick discussion from their leadership after completing the Fort Meade Joint Service Resilience and Remembrance Run September 8, 2017 at McGlachlin Parade Field Fort George G. Meade, Md. The annual run commemorates the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. In addition, the run is a demonstration of one pillar in the five pillars of service member resiliency; family, emotional, physical, spiritual and social. After the run, participants took a moment to remember the service members from WWI who started the 100 years of Camp Meade service and sacrifice. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Alexandre Montes)
