Over 1,800 Fort George G. Meade service members and civilians from 22 units from the installation participate in completing the Fort Meade Joint Service Resilience and Remembrance Run September 8, 2017 at Fort George G. Meade, Md. The annual run commemorates the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. In addition, the run is a demonstration of one pillar in the five pillars of service member resiliency; family, emotional, physical, spiritual and social.
