YOMITAN, OKINAWA, Japan— Camp Kinser Dragons and Yomitan Beach Boys form a scrum during the 4th Annual Battle on the Rock Rugby Tournament at the Zanpa Ball Park Sept. 2 in Yomitan, Okinawa, Japan. During a scrum, five to eight forwards bind together in rows and interlock heads with the opposing side’s forwards to compete for the ball rolled beneath their feet by a player known as the “scrummy.” Though the weather was blistering hot, the teams remained positive, hydrated and motivated throughout the tournament.
