Members of the 60th Aerial Port Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., load a C-17 Globemaster III Sept. 7 with two all terrain vehicles, two humvees, an all terrain forklift, four pallets of supplies and a crew, including servicemembers from the 60th Medical Group and the 621st Contingency Response Wing. Within 12 hours of alert and at the request of civil authorities, one C-17 with contingency response and medical personnel on board is expected to arrive in St. Croix and St. Thomas in support of on-going relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Irma.
