Petty Officer 3rd Class Cassandra Jones, Kansas City, Kan., temporarily assigned to waste management, scrapes melted plastic waste from a plastics processing compress melt unit on board the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The CMU melts plastic into a compacted cylindrical disc for easier storage until they are able to be disposed of. The Ronald Reagan Strike Group is currently underway continuing training before deploying to the Western Pacific and Central Command areas of operation. (U.S. Navy Photo by Petty Officer Nicholas A.
