    LOS ANGELES (September 5, 2017) A Sailor releases lines from San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) as they prepare to depart the port of Los Angeles in conclusion of the second annual Los Angeles Fleet Week. LA Fleet Week is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard team and experience America's sea services. During fleet week, service members will participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of Los Angeles and surrounding areas have to offer.
