170905-N-ZL062-037 WATERS EAST OF JAPAN (Sep. 5, 2017) Family members and friends (Tigers) of Sailors attached to the amphibious transport dock USS Green Bay (LPD 20) learn how to use a fire hose and about basic shipboard damage control as a part of their Tiger Cruise. Tiger cruises are an opportunity for civilian guests to ride a U.S. Navy ship and learn what life is like for U.S. Navy Sailors at sea. Green Bay, part of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group, is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance partnerships and be a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
