Williams, accounting analyst, 398th Financial Management Support Center, instructs four Soldiers from the 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) on how to navigate through the General Fund Enterprise System during Diamond Saber, an Army financial management exercise, Aug. 15, 2017, in Ft. McCoy, Wis. The two-week annual exercise offers Williams—a Woodbridge, Va., native—and scores of other instructors to share their in-depth knowledge of financial management with more than 650 Soldiers from the Army’s Reserve, National Guard and active duty components. The 143d ESC’s participation marks the first time Diamond Saber’s 12- year history that the exercise has integrated Soldiers who manage financial affairs from the general officer level.
