Spc. Joshua Burch, Company D, Division Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, assumes a good firing position to make accurate, precise shots during weapons familiarization training at Memorial Range located near Contingency Operating Base Speicher, Iraq, Jan. 14. Burch, a wheeled vehicle mechanic who serves as a gunner and driver for Company D, is part of the unit's Base Reaction Force. The Company D mission of upholding force protection standards on the COB means that soldiers, who serve as "The Shield of the Ironhorse."
