Petty Officer 3rd Class Nathaniel St. Amant demonstrates a Navy Infrared Thermal Imager used in firefighting to Nasser Alajmi, center, and Adbullah Abjaber of Kuwait during a ship tour after a reception in honor of Kuwait's 50 years of independence and 20 years of liberation held aboard amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall. The celebration was attended by dignitaries and special guests of the United States Embassy and Kuwaiti government. Carter Hall is part of Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
