A memorial marks a service honoring U.S. Army Sgt. Roshain Brooks and Sgt. Allen Stigler, who were deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve and assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, at a tactical assembly area in northern Iraq, August 17, 2017. The 2nd BCT, 82nd Abn. Div., enables Iraqi security force partners through the advise and assist mission, contributing planning, intelligence collection and analysis, force protection and precision fires to achieve the military defeat of ISIS.
