Zukeran Elementary School faculty and students gather at the school’s flag poles for a flag-raising ceremony by Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets Feb. 18. This particular American flag previously flew over Camp Eggers in Kabul, Afghanistan. The colors were given to the school as a thank you from service members attached with Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan for collecting nearly 60 pounds of chocolate before Christmas and sending it to the troops.
