Tech. Sgt. Jerry McPherson, 447th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron Air Tactical Operations Center controller, prepares to upload cargo into an aircraft on the flightline at Sather Air Base Feb. 24. The 447th Air Expeditionary Group operates the busiest aerial port within the Iraq area of operations. The airfield at Sather handles nearly 80 movements of rotary and fixed-wing aircraft daily and more than 9,000 movements in the last six months.
