    U.S. Marines treat the wounds of a simulated casualty during a field medical training exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jul. 18, 2017. The trauma manikins provide students with are not only anatomically correct but allow training on various wounds to include amputation, sucking chest wounds, fractures, gunshot wounds, abdominal eviscerations and airway compromise due to facial trauma.
