Bruning, from the San Diego Country Club, teaches Petty Officer 3rd Class Katharina Tosh, a culinary specialist from Normal, Ill., how to prepare hummus in the galley of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Bruning is on board Ronald Reagan to show Culinary Specialists creative ways to utilize their food stores.
