    Army Reserve Medical Command

Capt. Luisa Montaini-Klovdahl, a clinical psychologist, and Sgt. Rigo Ochoa, a dental specialist, assigned to Army Reserve Medical Command’s 7402nd Troop Medical Clinic located in Vallejo, California, prepare to see a patient at Fort Belknap Hospital in Harlem, Montana. Montaini-Klovdahl and Ochoa are two of nearly 50 medical personnel who are working in partnership with U.S. Army opticians and Fort Belknap Indian Health Service to provide medical care to the local tribal population. The Indian Health Service provides preventative, curative, and community health care for approximately 2.2 million American Indians and Alaska Natives in hospitals, clinics, and other setting throughout the United States.
Services provided by Army Reserve personnel are done through the Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training, a civil-military program that builds mutually beneficial partnerships between U.S. communities and the DoD. The missions selected meet training and readiness requirements for Army Reserve Soldiers while integrating them as a joint and whole-of-society team to serve our American citizens.
