U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Reagan Metcalf, the property book non-commissioned officer for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry “Red Bulls” Division, and Ames, Iowa, resident, shovels snow outside his living quarters Feb. 13. Metcalf spent the afternoon clearing the wet heavy snow from the sidewalks surrounding the brigade headquarters and living areas. More than five inches of snow fell overnight, making some Iowa soldiers miss their snow shoveling duties back home.
