U.S. sailors and Coast Guardsmen look over a recently published Rhumb Lines before the graduation of the first African Partnership Station West 2011 class trained by USS Robert G. Bradley crew and embarked APS staff. Sailors and Coast Guardsmen often use the Rhumb Lines as talking points for media events. APS is an international security cooperation initiative, facilitated by commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities in order to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
