Singapore Army Brig. Gen. Goh Si Hou, Commander of 6th Division Singapore Armed Forces meets with U.S. Army Col. Moses Kaoiwi, Commander of 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, during the 37th annual Tiger Balm exercise at Mandai Hill Camp, Singapore Jul. 19, 2017. This exercise enhances the professional relationship, combat readiness, and interoperability between the United States and Singapore Armies to meet and demonstrate regional security, partnership and resolve. This two-week long bilateral exercise is hosted in Hawaii on even years and in Singapore on odd years. Concurrently, this exercise is held at multiple locations in Singapore, Hawaii and Alaska with U.S. Command Post Exercise response cells at several locations. Soldiers utilize cyber war-gaming during this exercise and for the first time, Strykers and Terrex military vehicles are training and performing side by side.
