Lance Cpl. Brady Ginn prepares 81mm mortars for firing Aug. 13, 2017, in Chitose, Japan, in support of Northern Viper 2017. Marines with Weapons Co., 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment spent the day sharing techniques with the members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. Northern Viper maintains and strengthens the United States’ influence in the region and the U.S.-Japan Alliance. Ginn, a Cinncinati, Ohio native, is a squad leader with Weapons Co.
