U.S. Air National Guard Master Sergeant Jonathan Browning, assigned to the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard Maintenance Squadron, checks the static line retrieval system is operational on a C-130 H3 aircraft at Tbilisi International Airport, Republic of Georgia as part of exercise Noble Partner 2017 on August 7, 2017. Systems checks are critical prior to airborne insertions to insure safe operations for airborne infantry troops parachuting onto a drop zone. Exercise Noble Partner is part of the U.S. National Guard State Partnership program under the Department of Defense which includes security cooperation and global engagement.
