170809-N-WF272-445 CORAL SEA (Aug. 9, 2017) Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Sailors of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group join together to honor and remember 1st Lt. Benjamin Cross, Cpl. Nathaniel Ordway and Pfc. Ruben Velasco during a sunset memorial aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). The three Marines lost their lives when an MV-22B Osprey, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced), 31st MEU, experienced a mishap on Aug. 5.
