Retired U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Kevin Flike learns about the F-16 Fighting Falcon at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 10, 2017. Flike, a wounded warrior, is participating in an Operation Proper Exit, which gives service members a chance to go back to the place where they were injured and gives them closure. During their time at Bagram Airfield, the warriors received the opportunity to meet with pilots and maintainers, the Airmen who provide close-air-support in situations where coalition forces are pinned down by the enemy and need to evacuate injured troops.
